Ayan seems unlucky after left out by his girlfriend who chooses another man. He then is seduced by a girl in the neighborhood. Fade up with his current situation, he goes out with his friends for a vacation. It is during this time that he meets “Smriti” who is stunningly beautiful. However Ayan fails to realize that Smriti is a widow and the daughter in law of Mr. Roy, the owner of the tea house. She lost her husband some time back but she respects her father in low a lot and wants to take care of him all his life. Ayan falls in love with Smriti and during an antaksari the other night he tries to complete the song that Smriti started but could not finish up. Smriti gets really angry at Ayan as her husband used to sing the part Ayan sung.

However, they come closer over time and both of them expressed their feelings towards each other. Ayan promises to wait for Smriti until she is done taking care of her father in law. The movie end with the big long wait and sacrifice.
